Young Leaders Take Over Facebook

After six months of online classes the ten young leaders respectively from Mindanao and Indonesia 2022 groups have come together in-country to get to know one another and meet their Programme Managers, Alex Hill (MinLYP) and Caroline Novak (IYLP). During this time the two groups had the chance to connect with each other online as part of the programme’s in-country residency. For more than an hour, the young leaders entertained each other with song presentations and games to build friendship and camaraderie before they meet in Aotearoa in 2023.

They also had free run of the UnionAID Facebook page and took time to post stories about the sessions. Both groups are currently engaged in their Sustainable Development Course and working on their individual Action Project research.
