#TheBigShoutOut: Kylie Cox

“I am passionate about advocating for workers’ rights and social justice. When I discovered UnionAID, I realised that my passion could transcend across borders. Volunteering with UnionAID has not only allowed me to use my skills for a cause I deeply believe in, but it has helped me grow personally and professionally. I’ve gained a greater understanding of the situation for workers across our region, and I’ve made new connections with people who share my values and aspirations.”

Kylie works for the Public Service Association (PSA) union, and dedicates her spare time to volunteering with UnionAID. She is an active member of the UnionAID Action Committee, involved in promoting UnionAID, organising events, canvassing colleagues, and she is also a mentor for a participant in the Mindanao Young Leaders Programme.

UnionAID supports democratic, worker-led organisations that help empower working people to improve their work and livelihoods through collective action.
