Programme Support Manager – Myanmar Young Leaders Programme | firstname.lastname@example.org
Josie has a background in Cultural Anthropology and History, and a strong interest in social justice and the role of cross-cultural understanding in development work. As well as working at UnionAID she interns for a sustainable tourism organisation whose goals include using tourism as a tool for social and economic development.
UnionAID’s work is important because everyone deserves fair pay, social justice, and economic independence, and this is not the case for many people in the regions we work in. I think UnionAID’s work is effective and sustainable because it is people focussed, locally driven by partner organisations, and has an emphasis on justice, democracy and education.
