Introducing our New Young Leader Coordinators

Katja Phutaraksa Neef

Katja Phutaraksa Neef joined UnionAID as the Indonesia Young Leaders Programme Coordinator. She is currently a UNESCO Aotearoa Youth Leader and works on community climate change initiatives in Auckland through Auckland Council. She is also an ‘artivist’ for ICAAD combining art and advocacy for social justice. She also has a close connection with Southeast Asia, having grown up in Thailand and travelled extensively in the Asia-Pacific region, including to Indonesia and West Papua.

Gracielli Ghizzi-Hall

Graciélli Ghizzi-Hall is from Brazil and is the new MinYLP Programme Coordinator. She is returning from parental leave and her previous role was as a Senior Advisor with the Ministry of Education and the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO.  She has a Masters in International Relations, as well as having been an ESOL teacher. She has volunteered as programme coordinator for the United Nations Association of New Zealand, included mentoring young leaders.
