This is a chance to reflect on UnionAID’s inspiring journey – from supporting railway workers in Myanmar and building cooperatives in Tamil Nadu to training young leaders across the region and supporting union building in Fiji, Thailand, Myanmar, The Philippines, Indonesia, Samoa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Solomon Islands. We’ll look back on 16 years of partner‑led projects, and honour the tireless efforts and generosity of our volunteers and supporters who make UnionAID’s work possible.
Whether you’ve been with us since 2009 or are new to the UnionAID community, your solidarity matters. We’ll celebrate the union values that connect Labour Day in Aotearoa to our work across the Asia‑Pacific: collective action, democratic voice and mutual support that crosses borders and builds worker strength.
Let’s celebrate our shared achievements, thank those who’ve given their time and energy, and look forward to continuing the work together.
