Peter Conway Memorial Lecture

UnionAID is pleased to announce that Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will give the fourth annual lecture in honour of Peter Conway; trade union leader, economist, internationalist and a founding Trustee of UnionAID, who sadly died in 2015.
Peter dedicated his life to advocating for working people in New Zealand and developing countries, particularly in the Pacific. These annual lectures keep that mission alive with guest speakers delivering new ideas for development and international unionism.
The Prime Minister will speak about the international environment and New Zealand’s place in the world, including our approach to wellbeing.
Memorial Theatre | Kelburn Campus | Victoria University | Wellington
6pm | 22 July 2019
